Nightline Paris works with a number of partners, public and private. Without their continued support, we would not be able to provide this service to students in difficulty.

If you would like to work with us in order to make our service available to your students, or if you wish to develop initiatives linked to student mental health and well-being, you can contact us at the following address:

Volunteer with us

Nightline is always in search for new volunteers to respond to calls or to participate in the development of the association. If you are interested in joining our team, fill in this form, and you’ll receive a response:

Join the team!

Two training sessions are organised during the 2019-2020 back-to-school period. The first one will take place from the 12th to 13th and from the 19th to 20th of October, so if you would like to be join, be quick to apply!

Nightline needs you but becoming a volunteer requires commitment, so is it worth it?

Learn how to listen and communicate better with others

All our volunteers are trained how to listen. All volunteers who take calls are given two weekends of listening training – around thirty hours – by senior volunteers. This initial training, which has been developed in partnership with our professional partners, has been used for a number of years by Nightlines and other listening services around Europe. In addition to the initial training, volunteers receive continuous training throughout the duration of their time with Nightline, notably through regular group sessions under the supervision of partner psychiatrists and psychologists.

During this training, and by taking calls, volunteers learn to listen and put aside their judgments so that they might help callers while respecting our principles. The skills learned through these experiences have proved themselves to be surprisingly useful in other contexts, personal and professional. Nightline volunteers also learn work in a team, using their personal skills to help run and improve the charity.

Creating and growing a solid team

Becoming a Nightline volunteer also means giving one’s time for others, being part of a team and participating in the social life of the group. You will meet people from a variety of different backgrounds and schools, work together on a shared goal and form bonds together in the process.

Make a donation

Donations allow us to continue our work and launch projects aimed at students, with the aim of preventing suicide and promoting student mental health.

As Nightline is a non-profit charity, working in the pubic interest, donations allow for a reduction in the amount of taxes paid equal to 66% of the amount donated, up to a limit of 20% of your taxable income (in France). A receipt will be sent you following your donation so that you can benefit from this reduction.

Thank you!
